Step Aside Glenn Beck – The Tea Party Gets a New Hick

Glenn Beck is right: It is time to take America back, and we’re going to take it back from demigods like him.

The Tea Party gets another hick, but this one doesn’t bring his gun for show. Rufus “Junior” Hickman, Jr., returns in “The Hick Arrives at the Tea Party,” a no-holds-barred assault on Tea Party politics and the mild-mannered, everyday folks who are confused and manipulated by the propaganda surrounding it.

“The Hick Arrives at the Tea Party” follows Rufus on his journey to become the next Congressman from Nebraska’s 3rd District. Inspired by his quest for personal liberty (specifically, his desire to legalize pot), Rufus hits the campaign trail to convince the good people of Nebraska to send him to Washington to liberate them from this oppressive government and the evil clutches of Obama Hitler.

But when he finds out the people don’t really need liberated and Obama isn’t killing 6 million Jews, his conversion from a liberty-at-all-costs mindset to pragmatism troubles the Tea Party faithful who bring in the big guns, including Ben Franklin, The Profit and Momma Grizzly (assuming they can raise enough money). As the oncoming storm intensifies, Rufus is faced with the choice of faux-liberty or death. Luckily, he has his trusty, dilapidated tornado shelter to hide in.

Can Rufus convince the good people of Nebraska to join in his 420 Project? Will it be a tearful ending for Rufus or can personal liberty really prevail? Bring on the tears (just make sure they’re real) …
