Trudy & Colin was the first book I published and second one that I wrote. Trudy & Colin is hyperactive in its excruciatingly bad dating advice. And after I revisited it a number of years later, I can say its littered with 1990s pop culture references. Feeling nostalgic?

The book was very much about my very painful breakup with a girl that I was in love with, masked pretty well by my off-beat humor and the strange scenario of a young man crying over a cat that has left him — and left a note to tell him what a jerk he was.

That pain was real, but not quite as real as the pain of holding a book signing in my home town and having three whole people show up, one of which failed me in creating writing in high school.

Ah, memories.

There’s a segment in there called “Colin & Angela” that I really like a lot. The rest is a warped series of situations and humor that you will either like or really not be a fan of so much.
